Hello? Any roll player’s out there? Well if there are, this is an insider report of the film ‘DND HONOUR AMONG THIEVES’, being released on March 31st!
Set in the fantasy world of players of the world wide sport, this film brings the epic roll playing game to life, with help from Wizards Of The Coast, the creators of the film based all spells, artefacts, creatures off those used in the roll playing game.
The movie was filmed in both Iceland and Ireland, which has been a positive for the Irish film sector.
The story is that of adventure, betrayal, loss, and family, with epic performances from Hugh Grant, (the antagonist in the story, who has also starred in films like: Paddington, Glass onion, and Notting Hill ), there is also Chris Pine, who portrays a failed father, a member of a house of heroes, and bard (the famed actor acts as the leading protagonist, and has starred in incredible films like: The Last King, Spider Man: Into The Spider Verse, and the more terrible films like: Star Trek) this actor also delivered some pretty good songs in the film, (as he is a bard).
The more less known actors/actresses, are Michelle Rodriguez, who portrays a quite believable heroine in the movie, and Justice Smith, whose character is a failed magician with very little self esteem.
The film is brilliant, with an epic cast along with brilliant jokes that will reduce you to tears.
The last high performing actor, Regé-Jean Page, who is known to be hilariously boring in the movie, acts as a heroic Paladin (a knight renowned for heroism) who has little time for puns and sarcasm.
I would not only recommended this film for DND players/enthusiasts, but also for normal people who enjoy satirice and action, as the film has a lot of this, trust me, I’ve seen it before you have.
The movie delivers the storyline very much like an actual game of DND is played, with and epic start and ending with something equally epic you will just have to find out for yourself, as I’m not spoiling anymore! It will be released on March 31st, on a Friday, and is a must watch for anyone with common sense.
Thanks to Paramount Pictures, and Wizard Coast, the dream of an epic DND film has become true, this film will definitely catch the eyes of DND enthusiasts, players, and anyone who wants to have a good time…
